I want you to want me
I need you to need me
Id love you to love me
Im beggin you to beg me
I want you to want me
I need you to need me
Id love you to love me
Ill shine up the old brown shoes, put on a brand-new shirt
Ill get home early from work if you say that you love me
Didn't i, didn't i, didn't I see you cryin?
Oh, didn't i, didn't i, didn't I see you cryin?
Feelin all alone without a friend, you know you feel like dyin
Oh, didn't i, didn't i, didn't I see you cryin?
I want you to want me
I need you to need me
Id love you to love me
Im beggin you to beg me
Ill shine up the old brown shoes, put on a brand-new shirt
Ill get home early from work if you say that you love me
Didn't i, didn't i, didn't I see you cryin?
Oh, didn't i, didn't i, didn't I see you cryin?
Feelin all alone without a friend, you know you feel like dyin
Oh, didn't i, didn't i, didn't I see you cryin?
Feelin all alone without a friend, you know you feel like dyin
Oh, didn't i, didn't i, didn't I see you cryin?
I want you to want me
I need you to need me
Id love you to love me
Im beggin you to beg me
I want you to want me
I want you to want me
I want you to want me
I want you to want me

I was looking for a song that seemed like this song ("I want you to want me", by the way, by Cheap Trick, not "the letters" and it's certainly not doo wop style ) but it was a more modern type pop song. it was at Walgreens and I couldn't tell what it said, I didn't have my phone with me at the time. But I thought I heard "I'd love you to love me" in the verse part and the chorus repeated "I want you" a bunch of times or something. It reminded me of this song but I don't feel like it had the "didn't I didn't I see you crying" part, it was mostly the chorus over and over again. And sung by a girl, more upbeat than ballad, maybe remix-y?
