Pseudo-Drowning Victim
you swear that you'll never get away from this town if it's weakness that keeps you then your dreams hardly count your dreams hardly count
i don't have much i've lost my touch but i'll walk away from you from you
keep your apathy and get on with it keep your purity you're so fond of it keep your honesty and go lie with it come on keep me away keep me away
and you're holding so many misconceptions at bay and you nurse all your friendships but they'll sink anyway
i don't have much i've lost my touch but i'll walk away from you from you
so just keep your apathy and get on with it keep your purity you're so fond of it keep your honesty and go lie with it come on keep me away keep your memories they go nowhere keep your ecstasy and your despair keep your destiny 'cause i don't care come on keep me away
there was a song in a movie called "Descendant" that sounded like they were singing, "wicked lust, slowly turning into....(couldn't make out the words). then they said, "cut you down to size, touch me, shove me..."
It's a song from the mid 60's I thought the name was "Long haired music' but no one seems to be able to find a song by that name. It was a pop song on the charts I even had the 45 but can't find it now
I see you in my dreams, A ghost of what could have been. A love so real, But now it's just a fading scene. (Chorus) I'm in love with a version of you, I'm forced to live without. A love so true, But now it's filled with doubt.
Yes! This was the song I was looking for!! I was so sure I would never find it just by typing in the first six words of a verse. You gave me the entire songs lyrics, the artist that sings it, what album it’s on and the title of the album and even provided a link for me to get even more info on the band/artist and song. Thank you so much! You have got to be one of the best kept secrets in the world. This won’t be the last time I visit! What an amazing service!
I'm looking for a song with the lyrics where the guy says baby don't cry don't cry, don't change my mind. I said don't cry don't cry don't waste your time. I searched everywhere and can't find this song and unfortunately this is the only part and lyrics that I heard from this song in a video
I'm looking for a song by a male artist from some time in the late sixties or early seventies, I think. The artist talks more than sings and each line he says is preceded by the words, "baby, baby, baby."
Thanks to this website I've now finally found this 20 minute-long song I last heard 41 years ago and have searched for ever since. It's the first time the few lyrics I remembered have come up with a positive hit. And that was even with some of the words wrong. I can't say enough how delighted I am. I've now bought the digital album. Thank you a million times!!!
Hi I am looking for a song the lyrics go this way after you no one else will give me the love you give to me and I'll never love no one after you. Please help me find this song, been searching for it for so long.
I have been looking for this song for literal YEARS!! All I had was a sound clip of three words used in a remix on sound cloud! Thank you for giving me my life back!!
Searching for Boy Scout song sung around camp fire “Some one tied a love knot in the Sergeant Major’s boot” - This one has same melody but slightly different lyrics.
The song that I am looking has an indie country feel. It is a duet and a man an woman are drinking at a hotel bar and they go back and forth cutting each other down. At the end of the night they go up to one of their rooms and spend the night with each other. It is such a fun song.
I'm looking for a song that starts with 'only words' sung by a man. it sounds like it's from 70s/ 80s and it's a slow song but that's all I remember pls helpppp
